About
Born and raised in Colorado, I’ve always had a passion for art and design. I am a self-taught artist who has been designing and illustrating for over ten years. I graduated from the University of Denver with a BA in Design, which further enhanced my design skill set. My passion and ambition to make a successful career in design has taken off ever since. After graduating, I started my freelance graphic design company, K.Z Design.
I began my career and social media manager for the non-profit Snack2Learn where I re-branded the company, took over their social media marketing and managed a team of designers. In the summer of 2016, I accepted a graphic design internship with another non-profit, Alpha Phi International. I currently have the pleasure to work with them as a graphic designer. I have completed numerous design projects such as logos, advertising, and other marketing materials used across the United States and Canada.
Additionally, I have designed and created branding standards for new businesses. I worked with Ramona Christine, who is a certified life coach and psychotherapist. I helped her establish a brand for two companies, Embraced for Life and Ramona Christine, LLC. I designed logos, branding standards, brochures, websites, and also managed her social media marketing.
Most recently, I created a beer label for a local brewery, Three Freaks. I designed the concept and finished label for a Belgium brew and will also be managing the printing production. The owner and I are discussing three more labels that will soon be released!
I continue to work with businesses big and small to help them achieve their goals while completing my own. I deeply enjoy seeing my work out in the world making a difference for other people. I thrive in a fast pace environment and will fill any role to get the project done. I work great in a team environment as well as independent roles. I look forward to maintaining and creating new partnerships by providing quality design and impressive services.
